More than 2000 small and medium business owners around the country have responded to an invitation to take their businesses into the future using the latest developments in telecommunications technology. A direct mail invitation to the Cable & Wireless Optus Business Seminars has struck a chord with Australian business.

The free seminars will have an "applications and solutions" focus and highlight how the right mix of telecommunications tools including the Internet, email and 1300 numbers can assist a business to run efficiently, effectively and profitably. The seminars will include a state of the art multimedia presentation and tradeshow.

The Cable & Wireless Optus Business Seminars begin mid April with eight seminars in Melbourne, Geelong and Sydney. From July an additional 100 seminars are planned for capital cities, central business districts, suburbs and rural areas around Australia. It is estimated that more than 20,000 small to medium business operators will attend the seminars.
