FAQ: How do I enter the Promotion and what do I get?
Every time you spend $30 or more in one transaction on an Optus Prepaid Mobile plan during the promotional period (9/08/23 – 28/11/23), whether it is an activation, a manual recharge, or an auto recharge (like with Flex or Flex Plus) you will be eligible to get 3 instant prizes.
Step 1: If you have not opted out of receiving marketing messages from Optus, you will be sent an SMS after the payment confirming you’re eligible and asking if you want to receive 3 instant prizes (see below for customers who have opted out of marketing). You will need to SMS “YES” to 7777 to be sent these prizes. You will then get an SMS containing a short description of 3 prizes chosen at random from the prize pool totalling over $50 million. This means you could win a car, TV, headphones, free coffee, discount for the ICONIC and more.
Step 2: You have the choice to keep the 3 prizes you have or to swap them all (once only) for another 3 random prizes. To swap, SMS “SWAP” to 7777, or to keep, SMS “KEEP” to 7777. If you don’t reply at all, we’ll assume that you are keeping the prizes and will send you three separate SMS with information on claiming each prize.
Note that you only have 24 hours from receiving the SMS with the first 3 prizes to choose to swap. Once prizes are swapped, they may not be swapped back, swaps are final. You can only choose to swap your prizes once and must swap all three prizes.

If you have opted out of receiving marketing messages from Optus, you will not receive the instant reward SMS. To receive the message, simply send the word ‘YES’ to 7777 within 7 days of making an eligible transaction. We’ll then send you an SMS containing a short description of 3 prizes chosen at random from the prize pool totalling over $30 million. If you’re on a Flex subscription plan or have AutoRecharge set up, you will receive the offer message on the first day of your new plan period once a payment of $30 or more has been confirmed. FAQ: I would like to change my subscription to a $30 plan or higher to participate – how do I do this?
You will need to change your Optus Flex subscription plan via My Optus app.
- Open the App and click on Plan from the menu at the bottom of the screen
- Click on Update plan and you will see all the options available.
- Select a plan where payment will be $30 or more so you are eligible to enter Win More. Click on Choose this plan.
- Click Next to confirm your choice and accept the T&Cs.
- Your changes will be confirmed, and you can close the screen
