What’s changing?
After 9 incredible years, Optus Sport will be switching off. From 1 August 2025, Optus Sport will close, and the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, J.League and NWSL will move to Stan.
What does this mean for customers?
Optus is committed to ensuring fans continue to enjoy the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup and other football content. From 30 June, we will be reaching out to Optus Sport customers via email and messages within the Optus Sport app with further details on how you can continue watching on Stan.
To get started you can also go to Stan and register with your Optus Sport email.
You can still watch your football content on Optus Sport until 1 August. From 1 August, the Premier league, Emirates FA Cup, J.League and NWSL will become available exclusively on Stan.
I’m subscribed to Optus Sport via Optus SubHub
You can access the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, J.League and NWSL on Stan from 1 August 2025. If you haven’t got a Stan account, go to Stan and register using the same email address you used for your Optus Sport SubHub subscription to log in and complete your Stan subscription set up.
I’m on a monthly or annual Optus Sport plan
From 1 August 2025, your Optus Sport subscription will be ending and billing will cease from 1 July. This means from the 1 August date, you will no longer be able to access Premier League and other football content via Optus Sport.
If you are on an annual plan and your subscription gives you access to Optus Sport beyond 1 August 2025, we will be providing a prorated refund. We will be in contact with more information on your refund by 15 July 2025.
I have a Prepaid Optus Sport add-on
The Optus Sport Prepaid add-on will no longer be available. To watch the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup, visit Stan.
