OptusNet spam filter has blocked my email
OptusNet email accounts come with automatic spam filtering. If the filter thinks an email you've sent is spam, it's blocked before it goes to your intended recipient. You'll know this has happened if you see the following message:
"551 5.7.6 Message rejected as spam (CM) Please send message to mailblockreview@optusnet.com.au if you feel this is in error."
If you believe the spam filter incorrectly blocked your email, you can request a review by following the steps below:
- Forward the original email 'as is' (not as an attachment) to mailblockreview@optusnet.com.au
- Send a separate email to mailblockreview@optusnet.com.au, referencing the original email in the subject line
- Make sure to include your contact details and explain the intent of the original email
Reviews occur between 8am - 4pm AEST, Monday to Friday. In most cases, we'll contact you with the outcome within 2 business days via a return email.
For all other email errors and issues, please contact us.
Note. If you've received an error advising you've reached your OptusNet daily send limit, or the recipient notifies you they haven't received your OptusNet email, refer to OptusNet daily send limit exceeded.
