CONNECTED DEVICE PLAN: Available to eligible new and recontracting customers who also sign up to a 12, 24 or 36 month eligible device payment plan with Optus. If you cancel your Connected Device plan, there are no plan cancellation fees, however, your related 12, 24 or 36 month eligible device payment plan will also be cancelled and you will need to pay out any remaining payments for your device under that device payment plan in full. You will also need to pay all charges, inclusive of those outside of your plan inclusions, which have been incurred up until the date of cancellation. This is subject to your Australian Consumer Law rights. Limit of one Connected Device plan per eligible device payment plan.
DEVICE PAYMENT PLAN: You can buy an eligible device on a device payment plan and pay for it over a selected term by monthly instalments. You will need to remain on an eligible Optus plan for the term of your device payment plan. If you cancel your eligible plan or move to an ineligible plan, your related device payment plan will also be cancelled. You’ll need to pay out any remaining device payments in full. Any applicable device credits or discounts will be forfeited. Limit of one device payment plan per eligible device and per Optus plan.
Compatible connected wearable devices use Number Share functionality to access the Optus Mobile Network. The wearable device is not the same as a mobile phone and some network functionality is not available on these devices. Call quality may not be of the same standard as a mobile phone and may drop out in certain areas. Requires a compatible wearable device and mobile phone. Only available if you have or sign up to an eligible Postpaid mobile phone plan and use your phone to sign up via the app. Voice over LTE (VoLTE) functionality will be enabled on your device. If you cancel your Number Share Bolt-on or your Postpaid mobile phone plan to which the bolt-on is attached, the number sharing functionality will not be available on your wearable device. Number sharing functionality is only available for use in Australia. Optus Number Share is a month to month option which is normally $5/mth, but is available at no additional cost on selected Connected Device plans when purchases with a compatible wearable device.
ADDITIONAL DATA – CONNECTED DEVICE SIM PLAN: If you use more than 150GB of top-up data on a single billing account, we may continue to charge you at the same rates, restrict your data use or slow your speed to 256Kbps until the next billing period.
USAGE ALERTS: Usage alerts are not real-time and delays of up to 48 hours may be experienced.
MY ACCOUNT: Services that share data may have a service login to My Account which will display all service numbers contributing or using the shared data pool on the account. If you have more than 6 services, you may not be able to use My Account to monitor usage or add/change alerts.
