Can I change my plan?
Yes. Keep in mind that a change can take up to 5 business days and if you're still within contract, may attract a change of plan fee. You can check out the nitty gritty for your plan here or talk to us.
How do I check Satellite Broadband usage?
To see your data usage for the current calendar month, log in to Member Services with your Satellite Broadband primary username and password
The Satellite Broadband usage meter updates once every 24 hours.
How is Satellite Broadband usage measured?
Satellite Broadband usage is measured in kilobytes (KB). Where 1024 kilobytes = 1 Megabyte and 1024 Megabytes (MB) = 1 Gigabyte (GB).
Is both download and upload usage counted?
Only download usage is counted. Upload usage is not counted on our Satellite Broadband plans.
What happens if I exceed my data allowance?
If you go over your plan's monthly data allowance, your broadband speed will be slowed down (throttled) to a maximum speed of 28kbps. On the first day of your next billing month, we take the brakes off and your usage is reset to zero.
Will unused data rollover to the next month?
Much like our Fixed Broadband plans, unused data does not rollover so make the most of your monthly data!
Can I share data across multiple Satellite Broadband services?
Each Satellite Broadband account has its own plan and data allowance that is specific to that service, unfortunately this means we cannot offer data sharing with other Satellite services at this time.
