Troubleshoot / Replace your remote: Optus TV feat. Foxtel

To troubleshoot a Foxtel remote that isn’t working, try the steps below. Lost or damaged remotes can be replaced by purchasing one from your local electronics store.

Before you start, make sure that:

  • There is a clear line of sight between the remote and the front of the Set Top Box (STB)
  • There is nothing coming between the remote and the STB, including clear plastic or glass items
Step 1: Check your remote
  1. Check for any buttons that have become stuck

  2. Press the Foxtel or Standby buttons and check for a red light at the top of the remote. If there is no light, insert fresh batteries into the remote and try again
