  • In My Optus app: Go to Billing > Request extension > Follow the prompts

Important: We are currently upgrading our billing system. If your account number starts with 62, requesting a payment extension via My Account is currently unavailable.

  • Log into My Account > In the Your Bills section, select the relevant bill > Request payment extension > Follow the prompts.
    Note. The new due date will not display in the My Account dashboard. Instead, you'll receive an email or text to confirm the payment extension

Important info

If you don’t accept the offered extension, then your due date will remain the same. Please note that organising a payment extension may not prevent the application of late fees or service restrictions.
