    When using a Data Pool, you get the convenience of one bill and all the data inclusions become one big pool to share between all connected devices. You can connect any combination of My Plan Plus (including SIM Only) mobile plans and My Mobile Broadband Plus plans.

    • We'll send you usage alerts once you've reached approximately 50%, 85% and 100% of your individual or pooled data inclusions.

      We'll also send you usage alerts when you've reached 85% and 100% of any extra data that you use above your standard plan inclusion each month.

    • Data Pool is perfect for families and for individuals with multiple mobile and mobile broadband devices who want to get the most out of their data inclusions.

      Simply combine any combination of My Plan consumer (including SIM Only) mobile plans and My Mobile Broadband consumer plans on the one bill to pool and share the total monthly data across all connected devices.

      For families, Data Pool means all your Gigabytes are shared, so now the members of your family who need more data can use the unused Gigs of other family members.

      For individuals with multiscreens, Data Pool means it's much easier to use your preferred device when you have one Data Pool to draw on.

      If you need more data in any month, we'll automatically top up your Data Pool for just $10 per extra 1GB. We'll send you usage alerts to help you monitor your spend. You can also check Data Pool usage on the go with the My Optus App from your smartphone or tablet or online via My Account.

      We'll also send you usage alerts so you can monitor your spend - and, you can always see how your usage is travelling in the My Optus App.

    • You may be able to change your current Optus Mobile Broadband plan to a My Mobile Broadband consumer plan to start using the Data Pool. However, you'll need to have an active My Plan consumer (including SIM only) mobile plan, or another My Mobile Broadband consumer plan to be eligible to share data.

    • Coverage: The Optus 4G Plus network is available in all capital cities and hundreds of metro, regional and holiday towns with a compatible device and plan. Coverage varies by device. Check coverage at optus.com.au/coverage.

      Cancellation: Leave when you like; you'll just need to pay the remainder of your device payments (if any) plus any outstanding charges.

      Data Pool: If you have more than one My Plan Plus (including SIM Only), My Plan Business (including SIM Only & Tech Fund), My Mobile Broadband Plus or Mobile Broadband Business plan on the same billing account, the included monthly data allowance will combine into one data pool, which will be shared by all eligible services on that account. This data can also be shared with any existing Share Data Plan. Any unused data in the data pool expires at the end of each billing month.

      Additional Data: Additional data automatically charged at $10/1GB. If you use more than 150GB we may continue to charge you at the same rates or restrict your data use until next billing period.

      Usage Alerts: Usage alerts are not real-time and delays of up to 48 hours may be experienced.

      My Account: Services that share data may have a service login to My Account which will display all service numbers contributing or using the shared data pool on the account, and the amount each service has used. If you have more than 6 services on your account you may not be able to use My Account to monitor usage or add/change alerts.

      COVERAGE: With 3G devices, you can access our 3G (UMTS 2100 MHz / 900 MHz) network. With 4G devices and a compatible plan, you can access our 3G network plus some or all of our 4G Plus network. Our 4G Plus network uses multiple frequencies (LTE 700 / 1800 / 2100 / 2300 / 2600 MHz) to provide coverage. Coverage availability will vary depending on your device and location.
