FAIR GO POLICY APPLIES
DATA PLANS (MONTH-TO-MONTH): If you need to cancel your plan, there are no plan cancellation fees. However, if you have a related device payment plan then this will be cancelled and you’ll have to pay out any remaining payments for your device under that device repayment plan. You will also need to pay all charges outside of your plan inclusions which have been incurred up until the date of cancellation.
DEVICE PAYMENT PLAN: You must have an eligible Optus plan to add a Device Payment Plan. If you need to cancel your Device Payment Plan before the end of the agreed term, or you need to cancel your related eligible Optus plan during the Device Payment Plan term or you want to move to an ineligible plan during the Device Payment Plan term, then you’ll need to pay out the full remaining cost of your device. Device credits or discounts that Optus was going to cover do not apply in these cases. Limit of one related device payment plan per Data plan.
ADDITIONAL DATA – DATA PLANS: If you use more than 150GB of top-up data on a single billing account, we may continue to charge you at the same rates, restrict your data use or slow your speed to 256Kbps until the next billing period.
USAGE ALERTS: Usage alerts are not real-time and delays of up to 48 hours may be experienced.
MY ACCOUNT: Services that share data may have a service login to My Account which will display all service numbers contributing or using the shared data pool on the account. If you have more than 6 services, you may not be able to use My Account to monitor usage or add/change alerts.
COVERAGE: Coverage availability will vary depending on your device and location. Check coverage at optus.com.au/coverage based on your address and device.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS FOR DATA PLANS
Optional Extras are available on a month by month basis and do not form part of your plan. You may cancel them at any time. Optus may change or withdraw an optional extra at any time and we will try and give you at least 21 days prior notice of a change. If an optional extra is cancelled, changed or withdrawn, you will be liable to pay charges for the optional extra service that remain active until the relevant billing cycle ends and your plan will continue for the rest of its term.

Content and features vary by sport. Sport coverage is available as long as Optus has the rights. Optus Sport is a month-to-month subscription. Compatible device, and Australian app store account required.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC APP (for tablets)
Access to the App is available until June 2020, unless withdrawn earlier, at no additional cost on eligible Optus plans. This is an optional extra and does not form part of your plan. Only for customers 18+ years or 15-17 years with parental permission. Data charges apply, including for content such as ads, authentication, analytics or links to third party sites. Personal viewing in Australia only. Fair Go Policy applies.
Eligible Optus customers on selected plans will have full access to premium content on the National Geographic app until June 2020, unless withdrawn earlier. App and content are subject to change. You’ll need to check your eligibility here, follow the prompts to create a National Geographic Account, then download the app on a compatible device via Apple App store or Google Play store and follow the instructions.
National Geographic content will be streamed without using your plan’s included data on eligible Optus plans. Other content such as ads, authentication, app analytics or links to third party sites (e.g. when viewing photos or videos on third party sites accessed via the app) are excluded and may incur data charges. For all other ineligible customers, data charges apply from your service provider.
Streaming quality dependent on your device and service provider and on the speed of your internet connection. The App is delivered using Adaptive Bitrate Streaming Technology. The App will work best when you have an internet bandwidth of 3Mbps or greater. iOS devices compatible with Apple Airplay and Android users compatible with Google Chromecast. Eligible mobile customers will receive 1 login per account allowing for viewing on 1 screen at a time (additional logins may be provided for additional service numbers). Mobile Broadband / Data Plan customers will receive a maximum of one login per account. Please note it may take up to 4 hours to receive full access to the app.
