If at any time you are not satisfied that you are getting download speeds of at least 50Mbps, simply get in touch and we will let you cancel your contract without cancellation fees when you return your 5G device to us.

New services on 5G Home Broadband 24-month or month-to-month contract only. Return the Optus 5G device in good working order within 30 days. The 50Mbps Satisfaction Guarantee does not affect your Australian Consumer Law rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

- 5G devices will be available from mid-2019, after which time you may be able to experience 5G Home Broadband.

Frequently asked questions

We are confident that you will be happy with our 5G speeds, which is why we are offering customers the 50Mbps Satisfaction Guarantee*. You should also remember that your actual speed on Optus 5G Home Broadband will depend on a number of factors including (but not limited to) congestion, location of the 5G modem in your house and proximity to an Optus 5G tower.
No, Optus cannot guarantee that customers who submit an Expression of Interest will become serviceable for Optus 5G in the future. Serviceability depends on network coverage, capacity within your suburb and modem availability.
If your address is not 5G-serviceable, we will keep your contact details and notify you if 5G Home Broadband becomes serviceable at your address.
We will confirm that we have received your submission and will keep you updated on the progress of your Expression of Interest.

If you move house within a 5G-serviceable area, after you have submitted an Expression of Interest, you will need to submit a new Expression of Interest form with your updated details.
