For customers who were impacted by Cyclone Alfred we’re offering:
Mobile customers
Eligible consumer and business post-paid mobile customers on selected plans can access 100GB of bonus data per bill cycle over 3 billing cycles.
Prepaid customers
Eligible prepaid mobile customers on selected plans with an unexpired recharge will receive a once off 75GB of bonus data per eligible service.
You may also be eligible for a complimentary recharge on your prepaid service if your service has expired or will expire between the 6 March and 10 March 2025. This will provide you with standard call/SMS/MMS and data for up to 42 days depending on your rate plan. Check your balance and expiry in My Optus app or by texting ‘Bal’ to 9999.
The bonus data will be in addition to the customer’s standard data inclusions. Eligible customers will be notified on how this will be applied to their accounts.
We also offer billing and payment support if needed.
NBN customers
Eligible nbn customers who have experienced an interrupted service greater than 24 hours will receive a once off credit automatically reflected in their next invoice/bill after 22 April.
