Optus turns up the dial on mobile coverage in Bendigo
30 May 2012

Residents in Bendigo can now experience true choice and competition for their mobile services, as Optus today announced the continued expansion of its 3G network in the area. With the completion of two new mobile towers at Golden Square and Long Gully, residents will be able to enjoy improved network strength in more areas than ever before.

Guenther Ottendorfer, Managing Director Networks at Optus, said that Optus is continuously turning up the dial when it comes to improving mobile coverage.

"Optus is committed to expanding its network coverage in regional Australia. By delivering competitive quality network coverage, we are able to ensure a better customer experience. The new mobile stations in Bendigo are a positive step for the community, guaranteeing stronger mobile coverage in more locations than ever before.

"This investment comes after a major upgrade to all existing sites in Bendigo was completed last year boosting coverage and capacity. By enhancing mobile coverage to these parts of Bendigo, we are ensuring that more people can easily connect with family, friends, customers and businesses," Mr Ottendorfer continued.

Optus is confident of its mobile network and the coverage that the two new mobile towers in Bendigo will bring. As such, it offers its customers a 30 day coverage satisfaction guarantee on their Optus mobile service. In the unlikely event that a customer is not satisfied with their Optus coverage, they can simply cancel. No questions asked.
