Since we commenced Digital Thumbprint in 2013, we've held over 2,500 face-to-face sessions and more than 73,000 students from 160 schools have benefited from the program. By making digital education fun and interactive, Digital Thumbprint teaches students how to have a positive online presence and stay cyber safe. 95% of students confirmed they learnt something in the workshops that they can use in their everyday life.
DTP was the winner in the 2015 Australia & New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIAs) in the category of "Security and Online Safety". Additionally, DTP was a finalist in the 2015 Melbourne Awards in the category of "Contribution to Community by a Corporation".
A project with The Smith Family, mobile student2student aims at helping disadvantaged kids in years three to eight improve their reading levels over mobile phone, with the help of a reading buddy. In 2014, the program reached 500 reading pairs, with 94% of students improving their literacy levels.
