Warranty and replacements
We provide service assurance in situations where you're currently paying the monthly handset charge. As Optus no longer has rental phones (except TTY for customers with special needs), once the phone is no longer operational we will remove the rental charges and you will need to seek a handset provided by a 3rd Party.
If you're paying handset charges, you will see this in the service summary section of your Fixed Phone bill.
If the handset was purchased outright from Optus or if we provided it to you free of charge the faulty device may be replaced if it's still under warranty.

Optus does not provide service assurance for handsets supplied by a 3rd party however new handsets can be purchased from a retailer.
