Why do I get Mailbox Quota Emails?
If you have or are about to exceed your mailbox size limit, you will receive an email to let you know.
OptusNet customers have a mailbox size limit of 50 MB per email address (20 MB for Dial Up).
This includes your Inbox, Sent Items, Spam Folder, Deleted Items, and any other folders under your mailbox in Webmail.
The mailbox size limit refers to the total mailbox size, in Megabytes (MB) of the email in the folders mentioned above, not the number of emails you have. Emails with attachments such as pictures, music and video can be quite large compared with emails that are text only.
You may need to delete any unwanted emails from your email account. Make sure you remove emails your Spam, Deleted Items and Sent Folders,
If you have exceeded 100% of your Mail Quota, it may take up to 4 hours after clearing out your inbox folders for you to start receiving new emails.
