Troubleshooting ring time/diversion problems

  • If your phone doesn’t ring at all and you keep receiving voicemail messages: It’s likely that you have an 'Unconditional' diversion active. You will need to cancel the unconditional diversion to ensure you have a chance to answer the call.

  • If instead of being diverted to voicemail or another number, you hear a recording advising that they can SMS their number to you: It means that Missed Calls Service is active. To remove the Missed Calls Service, dial 159 from your mobile and follow the prompts.

  • If your call diverts to a message of 'this number is not listed'. It means that your phone is diverting to voicemail, however your voicemail is not active. To activate voicemail call 1509 from your mobile.

  • If your phone diverts to a disconnected tone: Try cancelling and re-activating your diversions, as the number it is diverting to may be incorrect.

  • If the above quick codes do not work on your mobile: Check your Manufacturer’s Guide for advice on how to set diversions from your handset.

  • If, after trying the above, you continue to experience difficulty changing the length of your ring time - please contact us.
