IOU: Eligibility and How it Works
We know it's annoying when you run out of Prepaid credit and can't recharge straight away. IOU is a feature that allows eligible Prepaid Mobile customers who have run out of credit to request emergency credit from Optus. It's available to select Optus Prepaid Mobile customers who have recharged $10 or more in the last 6 months. Only one IOU credit is allowed per recharge.

From 22 November 2017, we will be removing the Me2U service. After this date, you will no longer be able to send or receive a Me2U. If you would like to recharge for another Prepaid service, this can be done using the My Optus app, or by referencing the relevant mobile number at optus.com.au/recharge
