Pay $99, return your current phone in good working order to a Yes Optus store and get a new one on a new 24-month plan. And, if you need to leave your plan early you can, with no plan cancellation fees. Simply pay out your phone and any amount Optus was going to cover.

Now it’s easy to stay entertained with the latest smartphone.

WHAT IS 'GOOD WORKING ORDER'?

If you want to trade up, your phone needs to be in "good working order". This means your phone functions normally – that is, it makes and receives calls and texts, connects to the internet, and has normal wear and tear as listed below:

  1. Your device can power on and off.
  2. Your touchscreen is fully functional and has no imperfections such as lines or marks.
  3. Your device does not have any missing buttons or damage to other components such as charging ports, SIM tray.
  4. The device (including the touchscreen) is not cracked and does not have any severe scratches (normal wear and tear such as light marks and scratches are okay).
  5. Any locking features are disabled (for example, find my iPhone on iOS devices).

Still unsure? Come into your nearest Yes Optus store to ask our friendly staff or find out more at New Phone Trade Up.

Remember coverage varies by device, so pick one that's compatible with our entire network to get the best experience.

Buying a mobile phone that's right for you will depend on many factors, some of which include: your budget, the kinds of features most useful to you, and what your likely usage will be.Perhaps you prefer to have a phone with a large HD screen; or something that's a little more compact, that will easily fit in your pocket or purse. We have everything from phones with small screens to large-screened smartphones or "phablets".

Mobile phone cameras have come a long way and now rival the resolution and performance of many compact digital cameras on the market; so, if taking photos with your phone is important to you, high-end smartphones give you good image quality in most conditions.

If you live or work in our 4G Plus network coverage areas and use mobile internet a lot for downloading music or files, streaming HD video, or playing games, then one of the latest 4G phones might be right up your alley.

However, if having access to quicker 4G* data speeds isn't a deal breaker for you, then one of our 3G phones might fit your budget, and still provide you with mobile internet access in Optus coverage areas.

Whatever you're searching for, we're here to help match you up with the best mobile phone and best mobile plans to suit you.
