Paul Kelly’s ‘Life is Fine’ Takes Top Spot in 2017

It’s official, Paul Kelly's latest studio album, 'Life is Fine' is Australia's highest selling album from 2017. Debuting at #1 in the ARIA Albums Chart and holding the spot for 10 out of 21 weeks so far, its floated around the top 40 since release, been certified gold and collected praise from critics and fans alike.

It's exciting news for the seasoned Aussie performer, whose 23rd studio album racked up four ARIAs, taking home BEST MALE ARTIST, BEST ADULT CONTEMPORARY ALBUM, BEST COVER ART and even ENGINEER OF THE YEAR. No stranger to an award, through his career Kelly has been nominated 51 times with 14 wins.

However, you'll have to head back to 1998 to find the last time Kelly took out BEST MALE ARTIST at the ARIAs for ‘Words and Music’ (he also won in 1997). It's a testament to the singer-songwriter’s longevity and commitment that Australians all over the country continue to appreciate this homegrown hero's unique musical talents.
