Elton John is kicking off his retirement Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in his typical extra way with a three-year schedule playing more than 300 venues across five continents, stopping by North America, Europe and the Middle East, Asia, South America, and Australia.

After a record-breaking career spanning more than 50 years, the 70-year-old star has decided he wants to spend more time with his family, husband David Furnish, and two children (born via surrogate). As one of the best-selling musos in the world (from 1970 to 2000 he had at least one song in the Billboard Hot 100 chart at all times), the tour is sure to be a doozy, with all the showmanship and charisma he’s known for.

Elton John starts the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in September 2018 and it will run through until 2021, with Australia and New Zealand dates set for December 2019 to February 2020.
