NBN in your area: Are you ready for the NBN rollout?
Been waiting for the National Broadband Network like a kid waiting for their birthday? Wondering when it’s time for your present? Or maybe you didn’t even realise it was your birthday, but you’ve noticed something’s going on behind-the-scenes.
Well we’re bringing the cake, the party-poppers and the balloons – because it’s time to get this NBN-party started!
How do I prep for my NBN-connection party?
At Optus we have all in the information you need to get started on your NBN journey to superfast, reliable internet in our NBN Starter Checklist.
After you’ve gone through the checklist and your place is NBN-ready, it’s time to check out our value-packed NBN plans so you can get going online with NBN. Then, it’s time to cut the NBN-cake and savour superfast internet! #mmmsuperfast
When does the NBN-conga line arrive at my place?
The NBN rollout has been happening in stages since 2010, and if you don’t already have access, rest assured it’s rolling out to your place soon! The best way to work out when the NBN will be available in your area is to check the NBN availability at your address with the NBN map.
Optus works together with nbn – the Federal Government company, which is rolling out NBN to homes, businesses and schools all around Australia – to make sure that as soon as the NBN is live in your area, you’ll be able to get all the tech installed so you can connect to superfast NBN internet, quick smart!
But how fast is superfast?
Up to 100 Mbps fast when you add on our top Speed Boost Max Pack. This will make streaming movies, watching your favourite TV shows on demand, and going about your online business quicker than what is possible with an ADSL2+ connection. #Netflixbinge
Plus if you feel the need for even more speed, you can add on one of our NBN Speed Packs to your plan. #quickfix
You’ve already RSVPed “yes” to the NBN-party!
Change in technology is as certain as a devastating death on Game of Thrones. So at Optus we want to help you get ready for the future and become change-ready experts. When the NBN rollout reaches your suburb, existing phone lines, ADSL internet and Optus cable internet services will be disconnected.
There are a few things you’ll probably want to know about all of this – and that’s where we come in. Because it’s our job to know about stuff like how you actually go about connecting to the NBN and what happens if you’re a tenant, so you can reach your NBN end goal without any worries! All you have to do is get in touch with us.
So if you want to find out when you can start your NBN journey with Optus, register for NBN news updates so we can give you the heads up when the NBN rollout is on its way to you. Because this is one party you cannot miss!
