Optus Broadband Satellite (OBS) is a high-speed Internet service connected via satellite and available throughout Australia. OBS was sold under the Australian Government’s Australian Broadband Guarantee (ABG) program which wasreplaced by services available from NBN Co on 30 June 2011. If you require a new Satellite Internet service please visit the official NBN website to see a list of Satellite providers.

If you wish to reconnect an Optus Broadband Service which is currently installed at your premises or you want to transfer your satellite broadband service to Optus from one of Optus’ two wholesaler, Harbour Sat or Bordernet then please call 1300 882 028 and select option 2. My Usage

To assist you in managing your Internet usage you should regularly check your service usage. Internet Usage Meter is a tool that allows you to see how many MBs you have available to use and how many MBs you have used.

To access this tool from the Member Services Homepage, click on My Internet Account, login using your username and password, then click on My Usage.
