WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Buddy offer is only valid while the primary user's account is active^ and you are a registered user.
- You must be within a 30m radius of the 3G Home Zone device in order to access the Optus 3G Home Zone Buddy Offer.
Available for use in selected areas only. Signal will vary from Home to home. Available on selected Optus mobile rate plans only.
*Unlimited Standard National Calls: Calls must originate from the Optus 3G Home Zone device and will be preceded by 3 tones to indicate that the call is going through the Home Zone device and not from any other coverage provided by the Optus Open Network. Eligible Calls that originate from the Home Zone device will be credited back on your bill.

Excludes calls to: VoiceMail, 13/1300 & Premium Service calls, satellite calls, calls to Pivotel, Diversions, VoiceMail Retrievals, International SMS/MMS/Video, Data generating services and any local, national or mobile calls that do not originate from the Optus Home Zone Device. Unlimited call feature is not transferable to other mobiles, including those registered as secondary users. Optus Fair Go™ Policy Applies.

Cancellation: If you choose to cancel the Optus 3G Home Zone + Unlimited bolt-on within the 24 month contract period you will be charged a $240 prorated early cancellation fee for it. Should you return the Optus 3G Home Zone device at the time of cancellation you will be eligible for a credit, pro-rated over the 24 month period, of up to $168.

How it Works
The Optus 3G Home Zone device creates a mini "zone" of 3G coverage within your home to give you up to 5 bars of reception.
You can always tell if you're connected to the Optus 3G Home Zone by a series of "3 beeps" which you will hear on your mobile before you make each call.
As the main user (Primary account holder), any local standard or national calls (excluding Pivotel) that you make from one Optus Mobile through the Optus 3G Home Zone is UNLIMITED*, so remember to listen out for the "3 beeps" before the call connects.
If you leave your Optus 3G Home Zone mid call, your mobile will hand the call over to any available Optus Mobile tower.
Once the call finishes, all other calls made on the Optus Mobile Network are charged at your normal mobile plan rate.
