How do I purchase the Optus 3G Home Zone Buddy Offer?

- Log into My Account.
- Select "Manage My Products" next to the service you wish to apply the Home Zone 3G Buddy Offer to
- Then Select 3G Home Zone Buddy $5 in the 3G Consumer Home Zone - Secondary Category, click Update Selected Products and follow the prompts.

I received an SMS about Home Zone, what should I do?
Optus will send an SMS to Optus Home Zone Device users when;
- Their mobile number is added to an Optus 3G Home Zone access list
- Their mobile number is removed from an Optus 3G Home Zone access list
- The Primary Users account is deactivated.
What you need to know?
- Buddy offer is only valid while the primary user's account is active^ and you are a registered user.
- You must be within a 30m radius of the 3G Home Zone device in order to access the Optus 3G Home Zone Buddy Offer
The Optus 3G Home Zone Buddy Offer will not be valid if the:
- primary user cancels their 3G Optus Home Zone device;
- 3G Optus Home Zone device is turned off;
- 3G Optus Home Zone is moved to another address without your knowledge;
- Primary user removes you as a registered secondary user;
- A power outage, service outage or hardware fault affects the fixed broadband internet service that the 3G Optus Home Zone device connects to; or effects the 3G Optus Home Zone device itself
The Optus 3G Buddy Offer will not be available if the primary user's account is cancelled or you are removed by the primary user as a secondary user of the Optus 3G Home Zone device. If any of these events occur, Optus will contact you via SMS and you will be entitled to a refund of the Optus Home Zone Buddy Offer access fee on a pro-rata basis to be calculated from the date upon which the relevant event occurred (as calculated by Optus in its sole discretion) which will appear as a credit on your next mobile bill after the relevant event.
If you are no longer the registered secondary user of an Optus 3G Home Zone, or the device is no longer active you should cancel your Optus 3G Home Zone Buddy offer via My Account by;
- Logging into My Account and deselecting the 3G Home Zone Buddy $5 in the 3G Consumer Home Zone - Secondary Category.
