Optus MultiCast uses current Digital Video Broadcast compliant encoding and offers a wide choice of transmission rates from 2Mbps to 6Mbps. The service is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Simply provide your video signal to a suitable Optus Satellite Facility. Your video signal will be encrypted and uplinked to an Optus satellite for broadcast Australia-wide. You also have the option of transmitting your service unencrypted, subject to certain conditions.
