What is Optus' satellite solutions experience?
Optus is the only satellite operator owner in the region and operates 4 satellites providing services to both broadcasters and VSAT customers. More specifically, Optus operates over 30,000 sites across its VSAT platforms. Services are provided across a wide range of verticals from government agencies (Fire services, Police, education), public services (Bureau of Meteorology Centrelink, education departments), mining, corporate, lottery, SCADA/monitoring.
Can I order the entire end-to-end service for satellite solutions from Optus?
Yes. Optus provides a one-stop-shop service, which allows a customer a single point of contract through which they can order the end-to-end service from Optus.
In the event of a service fault, the one-stop-shop facility allows for single-point-of-contact fault reporting. This means that you need only notify Optus of the fault and Optus will manage the fault rectification to conclusion.
How is end-to-end satellite service billed?
In a one-stop-shop application Optus Satellite Services will issue you a single monthly bill for the end-to-end service.
