How do I make sure I'm connected to a Bridge Alliance network at my destination?
First, check which networks and services are available at your destination using our Global Roaming tool on the left.
All you need to do is make sure that you connect to our Bridge Alliance partner networks when you are roaming. When you are travelling in a Bridge Alliance territory, chances are you'll be connected to one of the Bridge Alliance networks automatically.
However, the network that appears on your phone may not always be a preferred network and you can change this manually on your handset by following a few steps outlined below. The steps to manually select a network may vary from phone to phone and on some devices may not be accessible (please check your handset user guide).
Typically, go through the following steps:
Hong Kong - CSL
India - Airtel Bharti
Indonesia - Telkomsel
Korea - SK Telecom
Macau - CTM
Malaysia - Maxis
Philippines - Globe Telecom
Singapore - SingTel Mobile
Taiwan - Taiwan Mobile
Thailand - AIS
China - China Mobile, China Unicom
To change back to automatic network selection, repeat Step 1 to 4 and then for Step 5, select 'Automatic' and your phone will revert to selecting an available network automatically.
