Optus' Enhanced Missed Call Service directs your callers to a short announcement that tells them they can leave a short 10 second message that will be converted to a text message by following some easy instructions and using their keypad to answer the prompts.
Features
- The service captures and records for you all of the calls you have missed, then sends you the information as an SMS message once you come back into coverage, turn on your phone or have finished taking your call.
- Even if your caller has their Caller ID blocked, they can still leave their number. Better still, if the caller wishes to leave an alternative number they can do this too.
- The enhanced missed call service is offered for free and is the default for customers that do not want voicemail.

Product FAQs
Which service would suit me - Missed call service, Voicemail or Voice to Text?
- The enhanced missed call service is offered for free and is the default service for customers that do not want voicemail.
- You may prefer to use Optus Voicemail because the enhanced missed call service only captures 10 seconds of a message and doesn't have a message bank.
- If you like the voice to text capability of the missed call service, would like a message bank and would like your callers to be able to leave longer messages - up to 30 seconds - then Optus Voice to Text is a great option for you.
