Technical overview

The Optus BlackBerry solution allows your employees to securely connect to your corporate email server via a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Emails, calendar updates and contacts are synced between your corporate email server and the employee's BlackBerry® handset using push technology.

The BlackBerry Enterprise Solution provides business with access to Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell GroupWise based email. Your employees can also add personal POP accounts.

You can also improve the Return on Investment (ROI) of your existing BlackBerry fleet by mobilising your internal business applications, Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), order entry, internet and intranet access and more.
