Optus is proud to support Australia's up and coming tennis stars with sponsorship of the Junior Tour and the National Junior Championships.

The Optus Junior Tour comprises a program of more than 100 junior tournaments across Australia and enables Australian and International junior players to compete on an elite platform.

The tour includes the Optus Australian National Championships, held for 12s, 14s and 16s age groups on the three Grand Slam surfaces of grass, clay and hardcourt.

Also under the Optus Junior Tour banner are a number of International Tennis Federation (ITF) 18/u events including the Optus Nottinghill International, the prestigious lead-in event to the Australian Open Junior Championships.

Players compete for national ranking points, the gateway for selection into international touring teams.
A record number of juniors are now travelling under the Optus banner and are achieving excellent results. Last year two Australian players were ranked in the world's top 15 juniors.
