First to offer small business fixed line voice, broadband, wireless and mobile cap

Optus announced today another Australian first in the small and medium business market by extending the Total Business Cap to now include fixed voice, internet, wireless broadband and mobile services under one plan, on one bill.

Phil Offer, Marketing Director, Optus Small and Medium Business (SMB), said after such a positive customer response to the initial Total Business Cap Optus has expanded the value cap plans to include fixed line voice and internet access.

"Optus is the only full service telco provider that can offer a set monthly value that can be shared across a range of voice and data services to suit small and medium customers' specific needs.

"Total Business Cap provides a simple solution that can help our SMB customers save time and money, while offering flexibility with the types and number of services they have now and in the future," he said.

The Total Business Cap offers true and simple value that will help our customers to control their telco usage.

"In today's challenging economic climate many businesses face a slowdown in sales and tight cash flows; they are looking for value and want certainty with respect to their telco spend.

The original value cap plans were launched by Optus SMB in August 2008 and included wireless broadband and mobile services.

Customers who sign on to a 12 or 24 month Total Business Cap plan will receive an Equipment Credit¹ that can be redeemed from any Optus outlet or online at www.totalbusinesscap.com on selected hardware.
