Optus Pre-Paid IOU Credit, an Australian first, is designed to provide a solution for Pre-Paid customers who hate the inconvenience of running out of credit at untimely moments. When customers next re-charge they will automatically reimburse Optus from their account.
The service will be available to all existing and new Pre-Paid Mobile Optus customers across all rate plans.

IOU Credit can be used on any Optus or Boost Pre-Paid plan. Simply text "IOU" to 468 and Optus will provide you a $3 Rev-Up Bonus which can be used for standard local and national calls and text within Australia. Any unused portion expires in 3 days and is non-refundable. You must have less than $1.50 MyCredit balance to use this service. On your next recharge $3 will be deducted from your MyCredit balance. Only one Optus IOU Credit can be outstanding at a time.
