Optus asks - How do you want your Mobile Internet

  • Optus has launched new and improved Mobile Internet Packs, representing greater value for customers with lower prices, more data and bonus calls and text value benefits.
  • "Customers need not fear bill shock when browsing Optus Zoo and the internet on their mobile with these new Mobile Internet Packs. They provide greater value than ever and no matter how you use your mobile, there is a plan to suit you," Michael Smith, Optus Consumer Group Marketing Director, said.
  • "We have a wide range of content available for customers to browse including MySpace Mobile, Fox Sports, Google, MTV Music Store and eBay.
  • "Customers even have the flexibility of connecting on a month-to-month Mobile Internet Pack - so they can experience the benefits, without feeling locked into a contract," Mr Smith said.

    *Only available on a 12 or 24 month contract.
    ^Excess usage charged at 35c per MB for 12 or 24 month contract and 50c per MB for month-to-month option. Available with an associated Optus Cap Plan.
  • Customers also have the option of choosing a month-to-month Mobile Internet Pack - they simply do not include the extra calls and text value and excess usage is 50c per MB.
  • Customers can additionally still choose the Pay as You Go option and pay for what they use with a rate of 1.5c/KB capped at $9.90 for up to 5MB. After that they pay 0.3c/KB.
