Optus has significantly improved mobile coverage in Patho following the installation of a new mobile tower in the town.
Rob Parcell, Director Victoria, said Optus was focused on enhancing and extending its mobile coverage in regional towns and along important roadways.
"Patho has benefited from Optus' $90 million dollar investment in Victoria over the past year. The objective of the new site in Patho is to provide maximum coverage to the township and Moama- Barham Road, and extend car kit coverage along the Murray Valley Highway.
"Optus has continued to listen to customer feedback to enhance its coverage, and plans to upgrade existing sites in the area, including our Echuca, Kyabram and Nathalia sites.
"Optus also plans to build new sites in Koondrook, and Durnham Ox over the next few months.
"People living, working and travelling in Patho now have a greater choice of GSM mobile network as a result of improved coverage," Mr Parcell said.
The Patho site has complemented recent new coverage in Boundary Bend, Cohuna, Mystic Park and Piangil.
