Cable & Wireless Optus has won a three year, $21 million outsourcing contract to provide voice, data and communications services to CGU Insurance Ltd.

John Filmer, Director Enterprise, Cable & Wireless Optus said, "The agreement with CGU will allow them to focus on their core business - insurance - secure in the knowledge that they have one supplier managing all their communications needs against strict service levels."

Under the terms of the contract, Cable & Wireless Optus will be responsible for the facilities management of all CGU communications needs including the supply and maintenance of CGU's communications infrastructure.
