Rohan Ganeson is the Managing Director, Sales at Optus, a role he was appointed to in April 2012. In this role he is responsible for all sales and distribution relating to the Optus branded business including retail, online, country, channels, telesales, and field operations.
Rohan Ganeson has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT, mobile and payment industries in Australia and overseas having worked in a variety of roles including marketing, business development, products and strategy.
He joined Optus in 2008, as the Managing Director of Optus Small and Medium Business (SMB), where he was responsible Optus’ operation in the small and medium business segments covering sales, marketing, customer service, strategy and commercial. During this period he successfully grew Optus’ market share in SMB.
Prior to joining Optus, Rohan was the General Manager at Keycorp where he was accountable for global growth of managed payment solutions, transaction services and value added application business. He has also held a range of senior management roles in Hutchinson Telecommunications and Hewlett Packard Company.
Rohan has a strong track record in sales and driving business objectives as well as a passion for delivering a great customer experience.
He has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from University of Western Australia, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and executive management from Wharton University.
