Optus recognises that listening to stakeholders helps identify the key issues material to our business and is essential in guiding how we can manage corporate responsibility.
Through employee road-shows, staff newsletters and emails, we inform and engage our people about our corporate responsibility agenda. Informal taskforces across the business ensure key issues are considered at a practical and operational level, and we've developed a role that is dedicated to integrating our corporate responsibility initiatives.
The Optus Corporate Responsibility Steering Group, chaired by our Chief Executive, Paul O’Sullivan, provides leadership and strategic input to our Corporate Responsibility Strategy and ensures it continues to be integrated across the business. This Group aims to meet twice a year and includes members of the Senior Leadership Team as well as key senior managers. The Corporate Responsibility Steering Group is supported by a Corporate Responsibility Taskforce made up of senior managers from our key business units.
